I have been suffering from sciatica for some time so walked in to Soear in garden city to see if they could help. They informed me that I didn’t need an MD Script to begin, I loved that! Clara and Courtney were the best! The facility is very clean and entire staff friendly . She taught me stretches and exercises that I can do on my own and has helped so much! Highly Recommend Spear!

I have gone to physical therapy at other places for various athletic injuries. Had new surgery, From the check-in process through the therapeutic program to when I was Discharged it has been the best experience I’ve had. Clara really cares and gives personal attention. Highly recommend to anyone living near Garden City.

Clara graduated from Stony Brook University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelors in Recreational Therapy and Sports Management from Florida International University. Clara started her undergraduate studies at Adelphi University for her initial two years, majoring in exercise science. She was a student athlete for Adelphi University’s swim team specializing in the strokes butterfly and freestyle.
During her clinical rotations, she experienced working with a variety of populations ranging from geriatrics, post-surgical repairs, vestibular, pediatrics, return to sport and neurological conditions. Clara found an appreciation for the diversities found in each individual treatment case and is determined to create a personalized program to enable individuals to reach their fullest potential.

Clara Vargas is an excellent physical therapist. When I came in, I could not walk. She did more than I expected, and now I can walk.
I would highly recommend Clara.

I have nothing but positive words to say about my visit. Clara Is incredibly knowledgeable and yet down to Earth. She has amazing organization skills and always explains exercises In detail, while also highlighting how they are beneficial. More than that, Clara is easy to talk to and a great listener. She is encouraging and truly wants her patients to progress. Anyone who is lucky enough to have as their PTIS in great hands. will miss her!

Clara is not only the most caring & compassionate physical therapist, but she is also the most knowledgeable one & incred at her job. Within 5 mins of meeting her, she could access all of my injuries & came up w/ a completely customizable plan to treat them. She's helped me immensely in such a short amount of time I can't wait to continue to treat with her since I'm finally hopeful that I am getting the help I need to finally feel better I can not recommend her enough <3.

My visit at spear has been great. It's like a family here everyone makes you feel so welcomed. I came from a different rehabilitation center that was not great but Clara gave me hope. Being here for a few months I can run, dance, and work again. She's so funny and nice with great knowledge of adl/miniscus. Honestly spear is the best pt clinic in long Island Ill miss everyone.

Clara is absolutely amazing. For a young girl she is an "old soul" who can look in to your needs immediately. She ignites my confident every time and my sessions are great. Anyone would be blessed to have Clara as their therapist.

Clara was an amazing PT, she took her time with my care and ensured I was able to use my shoulder once I was able to use my shoulder once I was done. She was always timely and ensured I received expectational care. She also went the extra mile and gave me stretches to do at home and in the gym.
