I’m pausing treatment at Hands of Hope due to ongoing concerns about care quality, communication, and professionalism. There’s been no clear progression or formal assessments to justify continued sessions. My preferred name was repeatedly ignored, and sessions often left me feeling worse. The therapist displayed unprofessional behavior—including receiving massages during my appointment time and making inappropriate comments about POC-majority clinic locations. Home care was inconsistent and confusing, with mismatched exercises and little explanation. I was also confronted for asking about a male PT—for a friend—which felt personal and inappropriate. After taking time off for work, I was told I should leave if I didn’t want to be there. I’ve since worked with a personal trainer who offers more effective, tailored, and respectful care. I’m seeking treatment that aligns with my needs and values empathy, structure, and trust.
The person I booked the appointment with does not work at the location they advertised they worked at and I went to visit. This is misleading!
Dr Paresh was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly explained the solutions and practices necessary for my healing. I would recommend her others as well.
they did not ask more than the necessary questions or give me any time to ask any of my questions and only talked to me for 2 minutes and didn't give a clear picture of what my recovery would look like, how long I should expect to go to PT, what kind of exercises I should do, etc. Focused on retaining patients rather than actually getting them the care they need.

I didn't see the doctor listed on the zocdoc appt, but the woman who saw me was very knowledgable and kind, and the staff overall was helpful and efficient. The space was super new and clean and I felt very comfortable, and that I was in good hands. Would definitely recommend for anyone else looking for a good PT.

My initial review after one session is stated below. It's a small office, at most 300 sq ft or less. They'll probably never pick up your phone calls since there's only two people on the floor. Make sure you get all the information during the initial phone call, like the exact location on the street and how to navigate the 3rd floor. They don't have any or can fit any resistance machines / equipment like other therapy organizations. Maybe they can use Equinox equipment? As of right now, I think they are a low budget physical therapy office placed in a affluent area with a consistent influx of people. They need to rely on Equinox, a gym franchise located on the same floor, to sustain their clientele. Is this a harsh review? No, because I believe they need to step up their game to persuade me otherwise. I'll be giving them another try next week. Hopefully my opinion may change by then.
Knowledgeable therapist.
