The most difficult part of starting therapy is finding a therapist. My goal as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor is to deliver effective, quality mental health services to all who seek professional psychological treatment. I aim to help you or a loved one develop strategies to cope more effectively with life's challenges. I have worked with clients struggling with adjustment to life events, anxiety, depression, and addiction. My therapeutic work focuses on a client-centered and direct approach.
I offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
I earned both a Master's and a Doctoral degree (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Interamerican University, both in Puerto Rico. Additionally, I completed a post-graduate certification in Sex Therapy, Behavioral Tech's Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and SMART (Self-Management and Recovery Training) Recovery.
