There’s nothing to say other than Danielle is a great therapist. I saw her for a couple of years and she helped me immensely. Being a middle aged man, I was surprised that a young female therapist would have anything to offer me. She somehow manages to be professional, empathetic, and quippy at the same time. Highly recommend.

My daughter started seeing Danielle at 6 years old because of her anxiety. Danielle was creative, kind and compassionate towards my daughter the minute she met her. My daughter felt so comfortable during her sessions often asking when she was going back. We referred to Danielle as the “worry doctor” (name suggested by Danielle) which was so appropriate. She definitely helped my daughter more than I could have imagined.

Deciding to start therapy can feel both scary and relieving. Finding a therapist that is a good fit is often overwhelming and difficult. Whether you are really struggling with something, or you just want a therapeutic ear, I am an active and empathetic listener who can help you find clarity and offer compassionate and practical support in navigating challenges.
I work with children, teens, and adults by creating a safe and non-judgmental space. I help my clients to explore their needs, consider different perspectives, connect mind and body, and help them break habitual habits and counterproductive patterns. My mindful approach and encouraging demeanor provide my clients with the tools they need to navigate life.
My individualized approach to therapy has been shaped by the variety of environments in which I have practiced. I have experience working in Private Practice, Outpatient Mental Health Programs, Inpatient Psychiatry, and Inpatient Substance Abuse Rehabilitation.
Please note that I primarily work with insurances on an “out of network” basis. Additionally, please make time for a short phone consultation prior to the initial session.

Danielle is helping my teenage daughter out immensely. It’s very hard for her to open up to new people but she looks forward to seeing her every week and so do I because she’s always in the best mood when she comes out of her sessions. I would definitely recommend Danielle to friends and family in the Rockland/ Bergen county area as an alternative to finding a mental health professional in NYC.
