Hello, I am Dr. David Coronado a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I attained a Master’s degree in Counseling from Barry University with a dual specialization in mental health and marriage/family therapy. Furthermore, I attained a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University with a concentration on health psychology. I have 10 years of clinical experience that include but are not limited to treatment of depression, family counseling, faith-based counseling, couples therapy, parental support, traumatic brain injury triggers and emotional concerns. Carl Rogers once said, “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself as I am then I can change.” I believe this quote encompasses my bedside manner and who we should always strive to be, which is an evolving/authentic version of ourselves.
