Don has an openness that is very refreshing and it keeps me grounded. I’ve been in fight or flight mode for a while, seeing Don, it snaps me back to the NOW. I wish I could select more than two answers but he’s very intelligent, direct, humorous, and solution oriented. Sometimes, you don’t want to hear the answer that you need, you don’t want to listen to the advice or even show up for a session but Don, he’s very good at helping me navigate those restrictive feelings.

I have spent years working with individuals and helping them through addiction, trauma, anxiety, and everyday troubles. Often, co-occurring disorders such as codependency and depression live just under the surface, making it hard to sustain a life of meaning and purpose. When these issues are addressed, true healing is possible. I love assisting people in discovering their true selves by working through their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. My practice incorporates the behavioral sciences by utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to promote emotional healing and spiritual wholeness. My goal is to provide clients with the coping skills needed to face life's challenges without turning to outside sources.
