Ellen graduated from Touro College School of Health Sciences with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in February, 2018. Ellen gained experience during various affiliations at Brookdale Hospital, Bainbridge Adult Day Care, and the DOE. Ellen also took part in a community based fieldwork experience where she traveled to a clinic in Kentucky to educate and provide Occupational Therapy services to underprivileged individuals. During the 3 years in graduate school, Ellen was fortunate enough to travel to various parts of the world such as Indonesia, Thailand, and Belize, where she was able to learn about different cultures and beliefs. Ellen am passionate about helping people from all walks of life, which is why she chose to pursue a professional degree in Occupational Therapy. Her goal is to use her skills, creativity, and positive energy to help individuals be as independent as possible in their daily lives. Ellen is excited to further her knowledge by attending continuing education courses and learning about current research in the field.
