More about Emily Davenport, LCAT, MA, ATR-BC
I'm an Anxiety and Trauma Specialist who helps women and parents create more calm, clarity, and resilience. If you're looking for parent coaching, parent support, or therapy for anxiety or trauma, I may be a great fit!
Together, we’ll build the tools you need to reconnect with your inner strength, and create lasting wellness. I specialize in integrating evidence-based and somatic therapy approaches including Art Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
These modalities are woven together to meet your unique needs, offering both depth and structure in the healing process.
With a Master’s in Art Therapy from New York University and a Bachelor’s from Pratt Institute, I’ve also received advanced training in EMDR through the Trauma Specialists Training Institute, Dialectical Behavior Therapy through the Treatment Implementation Collaborative, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Through Mindful Harlem.
My mission is to empower women and parents with the insight, skills, and emotional tools to feel more connected—to themselves and the people they love. Through individual sessions and tailored support, I’m here to walk with you on your path to healing.
If you're navigating trauma, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or self-worth struggles, I offer compassionate, creative, and research-backed therapy to support real and lasting change.
My sessions are a space for exploration, healing, and growth—where you can use creative expression and proven techniques to build a life that feels more present, purposeful, and truly your own.
*Please note that I'm not accepting minors for therapy at this time. I also don't solicit reviews, nor will I directly ask you for a review.
