I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with experience providing services to individuals – children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I believe an authentic therapeutic relationship provides the foundation for lasting healing. As a queer clinician who is LGBTQ+ aware and affirming, I seek to attend to diverse intersectional identities throughout the healing process. I am informed in healing centered, multiculturally competent, and evidenced based therapeutic approaches. My clinical work also incorporates body-based breath work and relational attunement to support healing through identity exploration and integration.
My specialized training in eating disorders, body image concerns, and disordered feeding and eating encourages the integration of both top-down cognitive approaches and bottom-up somatic interventions. Throughout the therapeutic process, I attend to emotional skill building to equip and empower clients with various interpersonal and regulatory skills. I utilize an intentionally integrative theoretical approach with foundations in post-modern existential and feminist theories.
I believe all clients are innately capable and deserving of healing and wellness. I provide a safe, affirming, and collaborative space in which individuals can fully engage in the therapeutic process. I will never shame the way in which you have chosen or currently choose to cope. My therapeutic approach will remain compassionate, curious, and direct as I support clients discover, shift, and heal their relationships with their minds, bodies, and loved ones.
