Please be aware that I will not prescribe medications at doses that I deem unhealthy based on my professional opinion.
I am a board-certified Columbia and NYMC trained psychiatrist and therapist. I have more than 15 years experience, offering both psychotherapy and medication management.
My goal is to help my patients relieve painful symptoms such as depression, anxiety or irritability in dealing with relationships or loss. My approach is to work collaboratively with each of my patients, exploring their individual needs and aiming for more fulfilled and satisfying relationships. It’s important to me that my patients are informed about all of their options regarding treatment.
It is important to me to return phone calls, texts or emails in a timely manner.
I've been teaching a class in theory and technique at the Columbia Psychoanalytic Center for Training and Research.

Dr. Feit is kind and knowledgeable. He is an avid listener who really takes the time to get to know you and is then able to make helpful suggestions for your long term mental health. He makes himself available to his patients for questions outside of office visits and is very thorough in his recommendations. Highly recommend!

I can't begin to describe how wonderful and amazing Dr. Feit is. Such a wonderful listener, and very calm and so professional. I was in a hectic state, packing for a last work trip and he put me so much at ease. He is not in my network but I had a personal reason for going to see him and oh how I wish he was my regular psychiatrist. Cut to..alternate universe... Where he starts to take my really good insurance. :) (Ok I swear I'm not crazy)

As with many of the other posts, Dr. Eran was very easy to talk to. Compassionate and non-judgmental. He explained treatment opportunities and I did not feel pressured at all. I felt like he took my opinion but also provided alternatives. Overall a very good experience.

Excellent doctor. He did a great job at putting me at ease and describing the best next steps, and I think he is extremely helpful. The only drawback is he doesn't take insurance plans, but that is pretty normal for the area. Highly recommended!

He was great, and gave good advice. However, did not take me as a patient. Even though he does treat addiction, he is not set up for those who need to be treated for severe addiction (needing group or regular monitoring). I would love to have become a patient, but he gave me some very good next steps and was worth the visit.

This doctor is amazing. Look no further. He is understanding, intelligent, compassionate, and committed to helping his patients come up with viable solutions. He presents all available options, explains them thoroughly, and then lets you make an informed decision. He also seems like a genuinely nice person, which is very helpful for someone like me who is severely socially anxious.

Dr. Feit has been amazing. I can't recommend him enough. I never really enjoyed going to a psychologist or psychiatrist because I always left my appointments feeling worse. But when I walk out of Dr. Feit's office I feel better and I feel like I'm actually solving my problem not just talking about it.
