Eric did a great job acknowledging my pain, and discomforts. He assured me of ways to address said issues, and continues to provide knowledge and insight to improve my function, and mobility. I'm excited to work with Eric again, and finally get back to my hobbies.

I was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. I am the oldest of 4 brothers. After high school I drifted through community college with an interest in Fire Science, obtained my EMT, and began to test for the fire departments. I got hired on with Phoenix Helitack on a helicopter crew back in 2001 and worked as a wildland firefighter for 8 years. That was an exciting time and I fought fires in Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, and Idaho. During that time, I continued going to college and graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 with a bachelors in exercise and wellness. I moved to the Pacific Northwest with my wife and 2 pugs after the summer in 2009 and worked as a physical therapy technician while completing prerequisite classes for physical therapy school. I returned to Arizona in 2012 to attend graduate school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona and received my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015. We moved to Tucson, AZ where I worked for 2 years at a busy inpatient rehabilitation facility working with medically complicated patients. We had our first child, a cute baby girl in 2016. I switched my interest in physical therapy from inpatient to outpatient and began working in a Sports and Concussion clinic with more focus on orthopedic conditions and functional movement.
We moved back to Washington this past February and I’m excited to work with SPT. I enjoy spending time with my little girl, 2 pugs, and my now pregnant wife, which we are expecting twin boys in July 2018! I love the outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, canyoneering, and reading. I enjoy working out when I can. Learning never stops for me and I love books! I read everything: nonfiction, fiction, literature, true adventure, essays, poetry, sci-fi. My book list is bigger than I can keep up with. I’m not a very serious person and love a sense of humor and practical jokes. I enjoy working with people, talking with them about their interests and getting to know my patients.

My PT has been super cooperative with me and is patient with how fast i get into exercises. He always greets me with a smile and it truly is a joy to come into the office to get treated. I highly would recommend for others to come experience Sports Physical Therapy.

Eric is a very knowledgeable and thoughtful Physical Therapist. I would recommend him to anyone with any PT needs. Always willing to work around your requests and answer any questions you have.
The whole team at SPT in Kirkland is super nice and I always love coming in to get to work. Highly Highly recommend.
