I received my Bachelor of Science in Sociology and then graduated with honors from Fordham University with a Masters in Social Work. Professionally, I have worked with and supported clients with a variety of needs and from different demographics. Most frequently, those struggling with emotional disorders, trauma, addictions/substance abuse, and/or dual diagnoses. While I employ an individualistic approach to every client I work with, based on a thorough diagnosis and assessment of their specific situation and/or needs, some of my most used interventions and treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, strengths-based perspective, and/or problem-solving.
Like many that pursue the field of social work, my main passion and goal in life are to help others. I take great pride in working with clients and am fully committed to providing each one with individualized care and support to help them become the best versions of themselves.
I believe that we all possess the inherent skills and tools we need to overcome, heal, and thrive and sometimes we just need a little assistance and support to uncover those.
