Dr. Cowell received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College and a degree in sports medicine from Lynchburg College. He has been practicing Physical Therapy since 2007, holds a board certification in orthopedics, and sees patients for private home visits or in the clinic. Dr. Cowell is commited to using the best evidence and critical thought to improve outcomes for patients and advance the field. Dr. Cowell takes continuing education courses focusing on the neuroscience of pain, manual and manipulative therapy, and fitness and wellness.
An avid sportsman, Dr. Cowell was a two-time Track and Field National Qualifier during his college career, and he continues to participate in activities such as basketball, soccer, snowboarding, weight training and cycling.
