I have been going to Resilient for physical therapy for at least 3 years. Both Greg and Trevor are amazing at what they do. Being an athlete, I have had many injuries, they constantly help me get back in the game quicker than any other place I've been to, while making sure I am fully ready. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Greg at Resilient Performance Physical therapy helped me recover from a fractured vertebrate so I could get back on the baseball field. It is the most personal and in-depth physical therapy experience I have had. Even after I fully recovered, the staff continues to check in to keep track of progress.

I came to Dr. Greg Spatz and the Resilient team with two issues:
1) Chronic golfer's elbow, which I'd been dealing with for 1.5 years (including treatment from other physical therapists)
and...
2) recurrent hamstring cramping/injuries when running.
The elbow pain had gotten so bad it forced me to abandon most upper body exercises that involved my right arm.
Here's what Dr. Spatz did that was different: He immediately zeroed in on the REAL source of the problem. Not my forearm or biceps muscles, but a "cranky triceps" muscle.
He gave me manual therapy to help relieve the pain. Then he asked me what exercises I wanted to do, advising me on slight adjustments to make to prevent overuse (but allow me to train hard again).
Even after just one session, it WORKED WONDERS. And I was back to 95% after just two sessions.
This was amazing relief, especially after year-and-a-half of pain and frustration. I'm now back to working as hard as I want in the gym, pain-free, which is huge for me.
For my hamstring issue, Dr. Spatz identified a running form issue (too much forward lean, a bad habit I developed with age I guess!) that was putting excessive tension on my hamstrings.
He worked with me to correct that in my first session, and after practicing it on my own, I began increasing my mileage and intensity without the recurrent hamstring "strains" I'd become accustomed to.
What I appreciate most about Dr. Spatz and his colleagues is that they don't want to see you forever. They work to get you back to doing what you want to do as fast as possible. (I think that's ideally within 3 or so sessions.)
In this way, they're very "client-centered." That is, they help you do what YOU want to do when it comes to exercise and activity—instead of pushing you toward a specific agenda or exercise plan that may not match your personal preferences or goals.
Dr. Spatz is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, professional, and empathetic. Which is everything you could want in a healthcare provider. I highly recommend Dr. Spatz and the whole Resilient team.

100% the best place to see for any sort of physical therapy needs. Greg and the other PTs here know exactly what they are doing and help you tremendously to get to where you want to be. For athletes, the work you get done is over the top and the knowledge they have separates them from the rest. Greg is a solid 12/10 and I'd definitely recommend him and Resilient PT!!

I went to Resilient earlier this year while training for a long-distance race. Dr. Spatz helped me overcome an injury I suffered by showing me ways to work on the problem. Thanks to his treatment, the immediate pain felt much better, and thanks to the tips he gave, I was able to work through the problem with a variety of different stretches and workouts. He explains things in a clear, efficient manner that make complete sense to someone without any kind of medical or physiological background. I can't recommend him enough to anyone looking to overcome an injury or to learn ways to stay mobile, flexible and healthy.

All of my visits at Resilient are a pleasure. There's never a wait and all scheduled time is spent treating my injury. They're knowledgable in their field and in their ability to communicate with patients. I won't be seeing another PT for as long as I'm in the NJ/NY area.
