Dr. Hesham grew up in Egypt and received his Bachelor degree at the College of Physical Therapy, Cairo University in 1983. He then received his Masters of Science Degree in Pediatrics at Long Island University in 2002 and his Clinical Doctor Degree in Musculoskeletal area, at Long Island University in 2006. Dr. Hesham has been a Certified Manual Therapist, MCMT (Mastery Certificate of Manual Therapy) since 2013. He has worked in different settings through his 30 year experience in physical therapy and rehabilitation for both children and adults. Dr. Hesham is highly skillful with musculoskeletal problems using trigger points and myofascial release approach, joint manipulation and mobilization techniques in orthopedic conditions either surgical or non-surgical and sport injuries. Dr. Hesham always strives to take enough time listening to his patients and feels their pain. Dr. Hesham believes that good listening to patients means better understanding of patients complaints and answers their questions which will ensure the right decision making and enhance the quality of care patients deserve. Currently he is running his own practice in Staten Island and Brooklyn with his 2 physical therapy partners.
We at Physical Therapy Associates are dedicated to providing each and every patient with the highest quality of rehab services. Our staff caters to your different rehabilitative needs. A female therapist is also available for ladies. Our practice includes an acupuncture specialist and a chiropractor. We have flexible hours within our 3 locations. Our staff collectively works together to assure that you receive the utmost care and comfort in order to help you get better in a warm environment.

Coming to therapy has helped a lot with my injiry. Every time I would come to my appointments the receptionist always welcome me and the doctors are really nice & friendly always make me feel welcomed and very helpful.
