More about Hugo A. Rocchia, LCSW
Hugo Rocchia holds a Master in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lynn University. He has been working as a social worker for more than 11 years and has previously held the positions of Health Services Director and HIV Case Management Coordinator and Psychotherapist at Compass, the LGBT Community center of the Palm Beaches.
Hugo has had training in sex therapy, hypnotherapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy; he combined an eclectic approach to therapy and offers a compassionate, culturally competent therapeutic relationship and is committed to the success of his clients.
As a psychotherapist, Hugo provided services to the LGBT community in Palm Beach County and was responsible for facilitating weekly groups and an individual session with his patients.
Hugo has a passion for educating our community about creating culturally competent environments when working with the LGBT population. He recently joined the team at Care Resource as a Clinical Counselor II and serve at the Broward Location.
Hugo and his lifetime partner Jose, are licensed foster parents in Florida, enjoying long-distance biking and has two dogs, Teo and Gala.
