I have practiced social work for 33 years; the last 21 of which have been dedicated to using psychotherapy to help people manage life changes and mental health challenges. Clinical work has taught me that the willingness to learn is integral to healing; and to growth. I have learned to use therapeutic modalities that work for the individual; and these are different for each person. My therapeutic foundation lies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; and includes ACT; DBT techniques; and Mindfulness.
