Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that is designed to help you better understand your difficulties, find relief from distress, and make the changes you wish to make. I strive to create a supportive environment in which you can feel deeply heard and understood. Through an attentive, empathetic, and interactive style, I work to ensure that you feel safe and supported as you explore painful feelings, identify goals, and develop new strategies for living. Working together, we can find novel ways of addressing the issues that are causing you distress and start you on the path to a more satisfying life.
As an experienced licensed professional counselor with graduate degrees in clinical psychology, counseling and social work and postgraduate training in several psychotherapy approaches, I am able to tailor treatment to each client's individual needs. I have experience working with adults and adolescents with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, relationship issues, life transitions, and personality disorders.
Though I may not be available to see new clients at the moment, I supervise a highly experienced and skilled team of psychotherapists. Please feel free to contact my office for more information on some of my associates who are available to take new clients.
