Jamies is great! After my initial consultation she created a therapy plan and after a few visits, I already have noticed a huge difference in my recovery. She's very knowledgable and has done such a great job in educating me about solving physical injuries from years back. Spear Physical Therapy staff is very warm and welcoming and the facility is clean and comfortable.

Jamie is an excellent, attentive, & professional physical therepist. She is knowledgable about a variety of musculoskeletal ailments & I felt comfortable in her care. It can be very challenging to find a practitioner in NYC that truly listens & helps her patients heal. Jamie is one of them!

Jamie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University. She gained clinical experience in multiple outpatient settings, working with patients of all ages who presented with orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular issues. She trained under several Manual Therapy Certified Specialists, who introduced her to myofascial release, cupping, Primal Reflex Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and kinesiotaping treatments, which she now implements in her daily practice. While earning her degree, Jamie was also captain of the Division I varsity volleyball team for the Huskies. She became the first person in school history to break 1000 digs, 1000 kills, and 1000 assists!
Jamie has been in and out of physical therapy herself due to her own athletic injuries, and understands the hard work and dedication it takes to get back to peak performance. Her personal comprehension, combined with her desire to help people return to a full and healthy life, has fueled her desire to become a physical therapist. Currently, she is particularly passionate about geriatric fall prevention, as well as helping all individuals realize their potential to live their best life.
Jamie still loves volleyball and plays weekly here in New York City. She also enjoys traveling the world, exploring new food spots, going to concerts, skiing and hiking in Colorado.

I can't speak more highly of the team at SPEAR in the Plaza Hotel. I completely tore three ligaments in my ankle in December and could barely move my ankle during my fist session. WIthin a few short months, Jamie helped me overcome my injury and get even stronger than before. She took a personal interest in my recovery and became my personal cheerleader. A previous 5-star review said this about Jamie: She offers her experience, time and knowledge in a way you can grasp easily and while connecting as a human. She's empathetic, detailed and I truly enjoy working with her. I 100% agree with the above statement. Wednesday's at 5pm became a highlight of my week. Needless to say, it was bittersweet being discharged from PT. Thank you Jamie!!

I love this place! The attitude they have towards health and recovery has been incredibly helpful in my recovery from a stress fracture. While I definitely miss the energy and laughter that came with going into the clinic, and the cleanliness of the facilities, SPEAR's transition to tele-health has been seamless. I work with Jamie virtually once a week and she makes it fun by being creative with the equipment I have around my house. She is also super attentive and I feel that the sessions are just as effective as the in-person ones. Overall I would highly recommend both Jamie and this clinic!!

Jamie and her team are pushed into a new way of facilitating physical and vestibular therapy - virtual. I can't imagine that kind of change is easy for an industry or a company. And the experience feels as though it's been a part of their product offering for years. Jamie offers her experience, time and knowledge in a way you can grasp easilyand while connecting with empathy as a huma. She's empathetic, detailed and I truly enjoy working with her.

I have been treated by Jamie for a year now. My back & knee has steadily improved. I continued virtually with her from mid March-July 3. Jamie is kind, intelligent professional & caring. She has superb intuitive skills & I have recommended friends & colleagues many times. Spear at Ho Plaza is #10. Staff is very friendly, facility is spotless & so convenient to my job at Bergdorf Goodman.

Excellent! I really enjoy working with Jamie. The stretches and exercises she has me do often aren't stretches I could do on my own at home. I need her to press & help my stretch. I'm coming twice a week the work helps so much!
