I have always desired to work in the field of counseling, supporting individuals on their path to understanding their feelings, behaviors, and thoughts in order to make changes and explore solutions. With a Master's in Clinical Counseling from Messiah University, I have developed the skills necessary to provide compassionate and effective care. In my work as a pediatric infant mental health specialist and behavioral therapist, I have had the opportunity to support diverse needs ranging from challenging behaviors, anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, relationship issues, and adverse experiences. My experiences in pediatric mental health, adolescent, adult, and family trauma have deepened my drive to help individuals who have experienced trauma and adversity. I believe that developing skills in recognizing healthy emotions and thoughts can bridge the healing process to supporting healthy behaviors. Psychodynamic theory best suits my orientation. I use an integration of eclectic modalities to assist in the treatment of clients, including play therapy, cognitive process therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. I look forward to joining you on your journey as we bridge your strengths to discover healing and personal wellness.

Jamie is a wonderful therapist. I have never felt more heard and seen than with her. I have gone through a few different therapists but Jamie is the best. I’ve never actually opened up to anyone but it felt really safe to do so during my visit. I felt validated, accepted, and understood. Very sweet and pleasant to speak to. Helped me clarify issues within myself without preaching to me, we simply conversed. It was really nice, especially for someone that’s completely new to any type of therapy.
