Jen has shown so much compassion and empathy. She really understands how to understand her patients. The level of professionalism is without a doubt unbelievable. It is hard nowadays to find the right help and it can be discouraging but with Jen, she shows there's hope and away.

Hello, I'm Jennifer. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Alcohol and Addiction Counselor (CADC). I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University and have been working in the field of counseling since 2008.
I also have an array of personal experience that has helped me hone my therapeutic approach. I see my clients from a psychodynamic lens. This means that I work with clients with an understanding that our early experiences and relationships have a profound impact on our current well-being.
Professionally, I've worked in a variety of settings-from hospitals and hospices to non-profits and private practice. I believe that the therapy relationship is an intimate and important one. The therapy environment, whether in office or through telehealth, should be safe, warm, and judgment-free.
My scope of practice includes:

Trauma work specifically includes chronic illness, chronic pain, end of life, grief, adoption and family complexities, healing after conversion therapy, family therapy for addiction, compassion fatigue, and surviving abuse.
