Getting to know Jessica Whited

I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with experience in working with adults and children from in-patient as well as out-patient settings. I have worked with teenagers and young children for over 12 years. I specialize in working with children with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have a heart for working with kids and teens with traumatic experiences. My passion began while I was still in high school and wanted to be a teacher. I worked in various daycare facilities as well as having my own in-home daycare and decided I wanted to help kids (and adults) in a more in-depth manner. That is when I began my journey into social work and found my true calling in life. I have experience working with children and adolescents who have been through, or are currently in, the child welfare system as well as working with older teens with substance abuse/misuse issues.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
