Justin is a fantastic PT that's caring and attentative. He will listen to your problems and help create a plan to help address those problems. Justin makes every plan personalized and will adjust treatment based on the person and the feedback he receives. He also will answer every question and takes time to help you understand things. Highly recommended, as he helped me get healthy & stronger while being very nice, helpful and personable.

Justin Aquino became interested in physical therapy during his senior year of high school when his brother required rehabilitation for his knee. His goal of becoming a physical therapist grew during his junior year of college when he fractured his ankle that required surgery. He experienced firsthand the effects of PT and the type of relationship a patient has with a therapist, which he wanted to provide to others as a career. Justin earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at New York Medical College (NYMC) and his BS in Applied Kinesiology from Rutgers University. During his time at NYMC, Justin has had exposure to outpatient orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, and inpatient rehab on a brain injury unit.
Justin’s clinical interests involve orthopedics, sport-specific training, vestibular rehabilitation, and injury prevention. With a focus on working with athletes at all levels, he strives to assist individuals to perform at the highest level possible in all sports. Being a runner himself and having participated in a running analysis project during his graduate education, Justin hopes to make an impact in the running community for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Justin was born and raised in New Jersey. When Justin is not in the clinic or classroom, he enjoys playing basketball, exploring for new and popular food spots, playing guitar or cajon, or simply relaxing with his friends and family. He is always eager to try new activities to reach new personal goals.

Justin and all of the staff at Spear are excellent! By far my best experience in physical therapy. He answered all of my questions and concerns with expertise and clarity, and most importantly, has helped me make so much progress on the road to recovery from an ACL reconstruction. Rehabbing from an injury is a challenging & frustrating process, but Justin & the team have kept me motivated and on track. And they are so personable, the time flies! If you are in need of physical therapy, I absolutely recommend.

My visit to SPEAR was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff at the front were welcoming and happy to answer any questions. Once in the gym, Justin was engaging and provided a high level of instruction of various exercises. He showed a keen interest in helping me rehab and answered any follow-up questions I had. I would highly recommend the 70 Pine location and Justin Aquino.

Justin was incredibly attentive and his approach to care is the most well-rounded of any PT I've had. I went in for a shoulder injury and unfortunately suffered a spinal injury sometime after. Justin was able to get me into the hands of the best doctors & surgeons, giving me another chance of life! Thanks! :)
