Born in Dallas, Dr. Wood grew up in Puerto Rico, returning to Texas to pursue her education. She pursued her studies in physical therapy at Texas Women’s University. Dr. Wood attends continuing education courses year-round to keep her practice up-to-date.
The focus of Dr. Wood’s practice is on orthopaedics. She offers general consultations and treatment for issues including sports injuries, herniated disks, movement disorders, and problems of the hand, knee, foot, back, and ankle. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Wood enjoys performing ballroom dancing with her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
