Hey, I’m glad you made it here! If you have, it's likely that you are in a place where you are looking for support and or answers.
I am a trauma-informed therapist, which means that I view clients through the lens of examining what happened in their life that lead to the present circumstances rather than exclusively addressing symptoms or 'what's wrong'. In my practice, I celebrate the differences and beauty of diversity and strive to make my practice an inclusive, safe, accepting, socially conscious space.
If you have ever experienced events in your life that have been overwhelming, hard to process, or difficult to move on from--then you have likely experienced trauma in your life. Trauma is a spectrum, most people have experienced some degree of it in their life. Due to this/these traumas, other issues like depression, anxiety, struggles with emotions, negative thoughts, self-esteem issues, struggles in relationships, and others—often develop as a result. They can disrupt daily life and disconnect us from ourselves and others.
My goal is to empower, teach skills, create a safe space for processing, and provide resources and insight. Through this process, it is my hope for my clients to help them create more space, clarity, confidence, and freedom from the past so that they can build and experience the life they want in the here and now.
