Katie was an amazing therapist. She worked with my son and helped him get back to himself very quickly. Her positive attitude and upbeat personality made showing up for appointments such a pleasure. I highly recommend her and Zion PT !

Katie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University with Honors where she completed advanced courses in orthopedics, performing arts, women's health, and vestibular rehabilitation. She also completed clinical rotations in orthopedics and dance medicine at the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries. Katie received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and American History from Barnard College where she was actively engaged in dance groups on campus.
Katie danced professionally in New York before attending physical therapy school. She attributes her interest in physical therapy from her love of movement and her own injuries and experiences in physical therapy. She has given several injury prevention workshops for dancers and is currently involved in research on injury prevention screens for adolescent dancers. In addition, Katie is a RYT-200 Certified Yoga Teacher and enjoys incorporating yoga principles into her physical therapy practice.
In her spare time, Katie can be found dancing, doing yoga, or walking her adorable Siberian Husky puppy around Central Park.

Katie was the perfect physical therapist for me. She worked hard to help with the early stages of rehab from a full knee replacement and then accelerated me through the recovery process. As a,result, I am way ahead of the normal healing schedule. She was very encouraging, yet consistent in working towards my excellent results. I have already recommended her to several friends.

I really enjoyed working with katey. She is very professional and she gave me a set of EXERCICES that were ideally suited to helping me fix my problem. She also had a great personality.

The atmosphere is very welcoming.
Katie is open and friendly and very attentive.
I felt that she understood the problem knew what to do, and knew
how to pace the sessions and put me at ease.
