More about Dr. Kelly Wieczerzak, PT, DPT
Kelly earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University. Prior to her graduate studies, Kelly attended The College of New Jersey where she was the captain of the Women’s Soccer team. While playing collegiate soccer she earned All-American honors in both athletics and academics and was later inducted into the Blue & Gold Hall of Fame for Leadership.
After having played soccer and basketball in her youth, Kelly became interested in a career in physical therapy after receiving PT for her own sports related back and ankle injuries. She realized how impactful the profession was in her return to the sports she loved. Kelly has always had a passion for helping people accomplish their goals.
Kelly enjoys working with athletes and treating sport related injuries, post operative cases and pediatrics. While in PT school, she completed research on the topic “In athletes, do components of the cervical spine influence the risk of concussion and/or severity of symptoms post-injury?”, and has a special interest in treating concussion patients.
Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys staying active and continues to play soccer in co-ed leagues. She is a coach for her alma mater Wayne Valley Girls Varsity Soccer and Basketball teams. A New York Giants fan, you can normally find her spending time with her family, traveling to the beach, and spending time with her adopted dog, Bubbles.
