Hello, and thank you for reading my bio! Are you providing care for a loved one? Do you sometimes feel like you shouldn’t feel how you're feeling; like you need to just “suck it up”? Do you wish you had someone who would focus solely on you?
I have specialized in helping people who are struggling with life transitions, grief, and overwhelm for over 20 years. For the past 10 years, I have worked primarily with older adults and family caregivers, many of whom are caring for a family member with dementia or other serious illness. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
While I do use evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I also like to explore how your interests—like art, journaling, yoga, meditation, humor, music, and more—can be incorporated into an overall plan for wellness. My goal is to help you develop the tools and skills you need to feel more empowered and at peace in your life.
