In session, I am here to guide you through the process of therapy and creating positive, impactful change in your life. I provide a relaxed, safe, and non-judgmental space for you to share your thoughts, experiences, and emotions. We will work together to help you create and achieve practical and attainable goals.
By working on your mindfulness skills in therapy with me, you can become more present in your relationships, be emotionally resilient when times are tough, and approach life in a curious and kind way. Per Harvard Health Publication, these skills can also improve physical health by lowering blood pressure, improving sleep, reducing chronic pain, and alleviating gastrointestinal difficulties, and more!
Most of my personal time is spent my time with my husband, who is a professional artist, and my adorable 3-year old son. I love yoga, exploring new places to eat, cooking, and reading. I grew up in Florida, but have also lived in South Korea and Japan teaching English for a few years.
My education includes obtaining a B.A. in Psychology from USF (2011) and a M.A. in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from USF (2015). I am also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.
