Dr. Lisa Grimmer brings a love of fitness and movement to her physical therapy practice. Her practice is informed by her extensive experience helping people move better, get stronger, and improve their overall health and fitness. Lisa employs both manual therapy and movement approaches to work with each person individually and to find a customized plan for each of her patients.
A personal trainer for over 15 years, Lisa finds the appropriate exercise interventions that translate to real life activities for her clients. She has been practicing Pilates since 2001, mat certified since 2010. As both a former ESL teacher in Japan and Personal Training Master Instructor, Lisa appreciates that her patients have different learning styles. Prior to joining Elements, Lisa worked in inpatient and outpatient hospitals, including in both orthopedic and neurologic settings.
Through one-on-one sessions, Pilates classes and Osteoporosis workshops, Lisa finds joy in helping her patients achieve their goals and find sustainable solutions to continue their wellness journey beyond therapy.
