I work with adolescents and adults. My specialities include working with people experiencing life transitions, survivors of trauma, queer and trans people, people of color, and disabled folks. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink affirming, and sex positive. I also work with polyamourous and non-monogamous people, as well as those with other alternative relationship orientations. Additionally, I have experience working with folks with substance use concerns, adoptees, religious minorities, sex workers, and neurodivergent people.
I aim to work collaboratively with you. I utilize an integrative social justice oriented approach that takes an individual’s whole environment into account. I am influenced by a variety of evidence-based practices, including DBT, ACT, internal family systems, feminist therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I became a therapist because I believe that the mental health of individuals is closely connected to our relationships and the environment around us. As such, I believe that our relationships and communities should be places of healing, and that the therapist-client relationship is one that can facilitate this healing.
