I wholeheartedly recommend Maile & Chelsea Orthology. Maile has always been professional and encouraging in my recovery after knee surgery. She's incredibly knowledgeable and flexible since my surgery was relatively new and therefore recovery protocol was not well established. She guided me throughout my recovery and regaining the strength in my muscles . Chelsea Orthology facilities are clean and well run and the staff are friendly and make the experience all the better.
My experience is always seamless and relaxed, which helps when you're in pain =) My therapist is really thorough and attentive which is reassuring when you have an unusual injury. Everyone on the team is professional and kind and I'd recommend them to anyone suffering from pain.
Maile is a superb PT. She is knowledgeable and so professional. Her hands are like magic. I suffer from cervical scoliosis and she always makes me feel a lot better when I leave the office after my PT session. She is just amazing.
In Physical Therapy, sticking to the regimen is challenging for me due to my ADHD and unique comprehension style. I need to hear things a certain way to process them. It's rare to find caregivers sensitive to this. This is where Maile stands out - with her, I feel comfortable asking her to repeat or clarify information so I can understand it. My past Physical Therapy experiences have mostly been disappointing. In 20+ years, only once have I felt as understood as I do with Maile. It's truly special to find a clinician willing and able to adapt to your learning style. I really trust Maile and Orthology with my care. Recovering from hip surgery (started PT about 6 weeks after labrum repair and femoroplasty), I thought I'd dread PT the most. Quite the opposite! It feels like a chance to become a better, stronger me. Much gratitude to Maile!
My first time at the facility went well. My physical therapist was nice, professional and attentive, which are important qualities I look for. I began some exercises and have some for homework. I am hopeful that my foot problem will improve.
Dr. Shigemasa did a great job of listening to me describe my spinal issues, and developed a therapy plan to improve my flexibility and reduce my symptoms of numbness & pain. When I had trouble executing certain exercises, she was quick to respond with alternatives. Excellent bedside manner!
Maile has been extremely professional, thorough, and understanding since the beginning. She listens very carefully to your problems and never rushes. She takes the time to understand the issues so she can better diagnose and treat. Would highly recommend everyone to give her a try for all physical therapy needs.
I'm very happy with my progress. Maile has been really helpful, I'm very grateful with her and all the therapy & exercises; my knee is almost recovered.
Very helpful. Good at home regime.
