Marwa graduated with honors, as a MLK scholar, with a BS in Biology from Seton Hall University. She continued her education in the UMDNJ’s First Doctors in Physical Therapy Program in 2003. Marwa is seeked out for her manual skills and treating adults. She is trained in Mulligan, McKensie, and Paris Techniques. She has acute, subacute, nursing home and orthopedic experience. Soon after graduating, Marwa started working in Pediatrics in early intervention, private therapy centers and hospitals. She also helped begin and develop the MOVE program in the Middle East, focusing on training and treatment of movement and manual therapy techniques. Being a mom, Marwa believes that every child deserves a true childhood and every guardian deserves the opportunity to watch their children play and have fun with family and peers. She is committed to helping children and their families maximize the childhood experience. Marwa has presented several therapy based lectures including, “School-Based Therapy versus Outpatient-Based Therapy”, “Sensory Diets & Its Effectiveness In Schools”, “OT Connection Between Home & School”, and “Therapy Invention for the Child with Down Syndrome. She serves the adult clients through the sister company "Total Therapeutic Touch" in East Brunswick location.
