Mary Patricia Daniels, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Connecticut with over 25 years’ experience in community and behavioral health.
After graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in political science from the College of New Rochelle and an extensive career in the private and non-profit sectors, Mary Pat transitioned to the field of social work. She earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work.
Mary Pat has since worked extensively in program coordination and in clinical care. She has clinical experience in a range of non-profit settings, including community mental health clinics, federally qualified health centers, mobile community health and others where she has focused the majority of her efforts on and honed particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders among Connecticut’s most vulnerable populations. In her current role of behavioral health clinician Mary Pat provides initial assessment and ongoing treatment to patients with co-occurring behavioral health conditions as well as conducting individual, family and group therapy sessions.
Mary Pat holds national and international certifications in alcohol and drug counseling, problem gambling and substance abuse and is a member of both the National Association of Social Workers and National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors.
