Born in Tacoma, Washington, I moved to Arkansas and grew up in Pocahontas. I graduated from Pocahontas High School, where I played football, ran track, and practiced martial arts. I attended Arkansas State University and became a physical therapist assistant in 2004. I practiced as a PTA until 2015, during which time I worked in a nursing home, served as a rehab manager, held an interim position as Regional Rehab Manager, and worked in outpatient and pediatric clinics. In 2015, I graduated from Belmont University with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and have been practicing in home health, outpatient, and acute care settings ever since. I am married and have a 3½-year-old daughter.
