Michelle (Shelly) Carpino, MSOTR/L is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist who provides occupational therapy services at the Toms River location of NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine.
Shelly received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Rowan University (2018) and her Master’s degree from Sacred Heart University (2020). She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and devotes much of her time to serving and helping others participate in what is meaningful to them.
Shelly was a Division III NCAA Women’s Soccer player at Rowan University, where she and her team won two back-to-back New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) titles (2015 & 2016). When she’s not providing Occupational Therapy services at North-East she trains and coaches at Apache CrossFit. Between her drive to help others move well and feel better and her years of experience as a CrossFit coach, becoming an OT was bound to be her calling.
Shelly has experience in acute, subacute, skilled nursing, outpatient, and pediatric settings and enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan. She is fully committed to helping her patients improve their quality of life through therapeutic activity.
