More about Mollie Callanan, PT
Mollie Callanan, PT, received her Bachelor of Science in Consumer Sciences from Buffalo State College in 1988 before obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 1995. A native of a small town south of Buffalo, New York, she grew up alpine ski racing and continued into college. She relocated to Phoenix in 1996 and has since been providing Physical Therapy services throughout Maricopa County. Her experience is in a variety of rehabilitation settings, primarily focusing on Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
Mollie is passionate about customizing programs for her BackFit patients to each achieve specific goals for them. She places an emphasis on Functional Medicine using manual therapy and body mechanics training to restore normalization of joint movement with special core, hip, and shoulder stabilization exercises and correction of dysfunctional neuromuscular patterns.
Mollie has a passion for living a healthy lifestyle and working to feel her very best. In her free time, Mollie enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters, weight training, Pilates, yoga, hiking, traveling, live music, and spending time in nature. Her favorite place in the world is Rome.
