Pallavi Shah completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from N.I.O.H. in Calcutta, India, the country’s leading orthopedic institute. She then earned her Master’s Degree from Queen Margaret University, UK. Described by friends and family as straightforward and positive, Pallavi is right at home at Orthology. She’s inspired by her work, dedicated to “correctly diagnosing and treating her patients to the point of maximum recovery.”
As you’d expect, helping her patients achieve their goals is very satisfying and fulfilling for her, and has been the key motivation for her to learn new techniques.
15 years into her physical therapy career, Pallavi’s passion for her craft has not dimmed. She’s built up expertise in Dry Needling, Kineseo Taping, Custom Orthotics, TMJ Rehab, Vestibular Rehab, Spinal Manipulation, Myofascial Release, Pre /Post Natal Rehab and Ergonomic Rehab.
An avid runner, she says Runnersworld.com is her go-to website. Running has shown her that maintaining an awareness of your body, staying active, and always hydrating are just good health fundamentals. Favorite athlete? Of course, she’d pick the guy who just keeps on running, Roger Federer. And what professional is more straightforward and positive than the famed tennis star?
Pallavi also enjoys cooking. In fact, she says “Food is Nirvana” for her! When not cooking up some Nirvana or running, she enjoys spending time with family and continuing to enhance her physical therapy treatment skills.

Extremely professional and caring provider. Pallavi spends a lot of time understanding the issue in hand, before efficiently acting on it. She is very friendly and knowledgeable, and did an amazing job fixing my shoulder problem. I cannot recommend Pallavi strongly enough.

I came in after a week where I was in a higher level of pain than usual. Pallavi asked about my preference for pressure for the manuel part of the work. When she finished, I not only felt release of some of the tightness & pain, I could also breathe easier. She then showed me a couple new exercises to add onto the ones I was doing, & demonstrated how to do them effectively. I would definitely recommend her, as well as Orthology. I have always had a positive experience here.
