I've always felt timid about seeing a therapist for many of my own reasons. As nervous as I was about our first session, Dr. Rachel immediately made me feel comfortable and heard. I didn't realize that this was what my life truly needed until I worked with her. For anyone needing an organized, responsive, and caring clinician, I absolutely recommend working with Dr. Rachel. My life feels like my own again after all these years.
I'm SO glad I found Rachel! Her style of using CBT worked well for me and helped me feel less depressed and more able to feel hopeful about the future.

I am an Existential Therapist with an evidence-based approach, specializing in helping clients find meaning and purpose when existence feels hopeless or empty. Many people today, not only in their own lives but across the country and world, experience a pervasive sense of demoralization, exhaustion, or helpless fury. You might be facing symptoms of depression or anxiety, or even thoughts of suicide. The philosophies of Existentialism and Stoicism, combined with the modern practice of cognitive behavioral therapy, offer an ideal approach to identifying a personally meaningful path forward. Existential and Stoic philosophy focus on concerns such as meaning, freedom, authenticity, isolation, death, responsibility, virtue, and ethics. Together, we will explore these topics unflinchingly, aiming to create or define your own way to live. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based therapeutic approach centered on the idea of control. It helps individuals find balance and power in their lives through exploring mind-centered concepts such as perspective, emotional regulation, self-awareness, cognitive restructuring, perceptions, and mindfulness. I was dealing with a lot of chronic pain and depression and anxiety. I haven't always felt like providers take my pain seriously, but I felt like Rachel did. She was a great listener and gave me a lot of helpful feedback
Rachel was very professional and helpful.
I will forever be grateful for my time working with Rachel in therapy. With her knowledge in existentialism, she helped me to find meaning in my life again. Thank you Rachel
Dr Rachel was great. after the first ten minutes she looked concerned as to weather she could handle this issue with our family. hopefully the next session will go better. i believe she didn't think it was going to go to an extent that it did. maybe something out of her realm of maybe expertise. she was trying to calm some parts of the family down. like maybe it was getting out of hand. alot of issues still need to be resolved. unsure where this will go.
