An amazing physical therapist! I went in with some lingering pain from a sprained ankle and he took so much time and careful attention to see what was really happening with my foot. He spent almost a full hour with me, listening to my symptoms and testing every muscle and tendon in my foot. He explained what was happening inside my bod really clearly and let me know I needed to wear a boot for a week so my foot could heal properly. My insurance isn't taken by them, but they let me know that and had a supremely reasonable out of pocket offer. I was so appreciative of the care and time that he took to make sure I was healing properly! He used a cool gadget to help me heal and I have a follow up appointment for physical therapy exercises. Highly, highly recommended!

Dr. Garcia has been a physical therapist since 1989. He has worked in various settings, treating various patient populations. Dr. Garcia graduated in 1989 with a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from the University of the Sciences (formerly the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science). In 1997, Dr. Garcia completed his PhD in Pathokinesiology from New York University (NYU). Dr. Garcia was an Associate Professor and the Research Coordinator in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Touro College, NY, NY for over 20 years (2001-2022). He was the PT Supervisor at ProHealth and Fitness, PT, OT in New York from 2008-2018. He has worked part-time at Rehab Associates since 2018. Dr. Garcia has previously worked at NYU Medical Center at The Rusk Institute in the inpatient and outpatient units. He has provided physical therapy services to recipients of organ transplants after end stage liver and renal disease at Presbyterian Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
