Shonda is awesome ! Didn’t think I would benefit from therapy sessions ever ! I’m 38 and had my first session a month ago with Shonda , and I must say it’s been nothing short of a blessing !!! Great listener , and gives unbiased, realistic feed back to help navigate my thought process and life journey !

Hi there! I have been helping people improve their overall well-being through the use of various forms of psychotherapy. The open and safe relationship between the client and therapist is also a key factor. I typically work with clients who lack the relationship skills, conflict resolution skills, and communication skills to manage life effectively. I love seeing my clients become more empowered and liberated through increased insight and skills development.
Together, we can assess adverse life experiences that have contributed to low self esteem and distorted ways of seeing yourself, others and the world. We will also uncover core beliefs that are deeply embedded in your psyche that are barriers to your goals.
Finding a compatible therapist is essential, the relationship with your mental health provider is a very important factor. I am considered by many of my clients very relatable and personable as I am human first and have dealt with some of the same issues as you. You deserve a safe space to heal, learn, and grow.
