Part of the human experience is grappling with existential questions – what is the meaning of my life? Where and with whom do I belong? What values and beliefs shape my authentic self? How do I balance my longing for freedom with all of my responsibilities?
These questions can be challenging to explore alone – particularly if you have experienced trauma, or if depression, anxiety, and stress are making it difficult to get through the day. Add on top of that the attachment wounding that you may have experienced in your childhood, or the harmful patterns of relating you may have learned from your family that seem to manifest in your romantic relationships today. All of this together can feel overwhelming – I assure you there is hope.
My style is to show you unconditional kindness coupled with honest feedback so that you might develop self-awareness and achieve your full potential. Insight into your undiscovered strengths and unconscious dynamics will give you the freedom to live your most authentic life.
Over the years, I have helped clients of all ages recover and heal from trauma, deepen intimacy in their romantic relationships, develop effective communication skills with family and coworkers, and learn to manage stress and anxiety. For clients who carry a lot of shame about their gender identity, sexuality, kinks, or a previous diagnosis, I seek to foster a relationship where they feel seen, valued, held, and empowered in all of their uniqueness.
I’ve worked with people on the margins of society who have experienced rejection and oppression because of their intersecting identities, and I have helped them find creative ways to heal from that trauma and effect change in racist Cisheteronormative systems and institutions.
