About Resham Kadam
Resham received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University after earning her Bachelor's in Physiotherapy from D. Y. Patil International University, India. Her educational journey was marked by a passion for pediatric and neurodivergent conditions, setting the stage for her commitment to specialized care. She has experience in school-based pediatric environments, sensory gyms, skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient orthopedic units. Resham has treated conditions including developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and Torticollis. She also has an interest in lifespan development and has worked with aging adults facing neurological and orthopedic challenges.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she volunteered with the Rotaract club to organize fundraisers and public health awareness events dedicated to community well-being. Resham’s passion for inclusivity and advocacy is evident in her efforts to mobilize community services and spread awareness for the LGBTQIA+ community in India. Her exploration of yoga and meditation began at a young age, and she believes physical well-being is connected to mental and spiritual health. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing healing as a multidimensional process. This awakening, both personally and clinically, has shaped her approach. Her expertise includes sensory integration and Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), which she employs to create a holistic, collaborative, and functional approach to care. For her youngest patients, her approach is evidence-based and play-based, making therapy fun and engaging.
In her free time, Resham enjoys savoring great food, exploring her artistic side through paint-by-numbers, discovering the city, and expanding her knowledge by listening to history podcasts.

I feel so fortunate to have such an astate therapist at Spears Physical Therapy. Resham is very thorough in her plan to help me gain strength and mobility after recovering from a broken foot. She is very polite and has such a caring manner. I couldn't be happier and love coming to my PT sessions!

Excellent care. Resham is thorough and knowledgeable, and identified my health issue when other providers had been treating the wrong issue. I feel I have made real progress under her care. She is professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. I have seen her for two separate injuries and had great care for both.
