Mr. Robert Vecsi is a conscientious physical therapist practicing in New York City. A New York native, he received his master’s degree in physical therapy at City University of New York, Staten Island College. He has also completed post-graduate work with the Institute of Physical Art and the University of St. Augustine with a focus on the spine.
Mr. Vecsi offers a range of treatment plans and therapeutic care, including cervical traction, muscle energy techniques, strain-counterstrain, and SI joint mobilization. He also provides therapeutic exercises from isotonics to multi-joint, multi-planar movements. He uses ultrasound and phonophoresis to complement his patient’s care plans when indicated.

After breaking my leg and ankle falling down the stairs and being in a cast for 3 months I wasn't sure I would be able to walk without limping ever again. Then my brother said I should see Rob. Even without the physical therapy itself wasn't always comfortable Rob took his time and explained everything to me. What we were doing and how it would help me. Bonus I never got passed on to someone else like I did at my other physical therapist. Rob's great I would tell anyone to go see him.

I had back surgery last year and Rob was my physical therapist afterwards. The best decision I made was going to him. He took his time with me I didn't feel rushed. He always answered all my questions and even texted and emailed to make sure I was doing my exercises and see if I had any questions. If I ever need physical therapy again I will definitely go back to Rob

After trying unsuccessfully for many years to find a good physical therapist and on the recommendation of a noted New York internsit, I went to see Rob Vecsi. I couldn't be happier with his expert care, and so are the the many friends and relatives who have followed my suggestion. Rob is simply the best!

There are many things that make Rob Vecsi special. His knowledge of the human anatomy is superior to any of the many physical therapist I have known. Rob devotes each session to one patient and one patient alone. He is not extreme, nor is he passive, but he achieves the proper balance between knowledge and intuition to make the experience a healing one.

On the recommendation of a friend I took my 16-year old daughter to Rob after she hurt her shoulder at gymnastics. She was really nervous about going, she had never done physical therapy before and just wanted to be back in the gym. Rob was great with her he quickly put her at ease and soon we started seeing improvement. I'm happy to say she's back in the gym and has no problems with her shoulder. Thank you Rob!
