About Ryan Bisumber

Ryan received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and his Bachelor of Science in Biology, both from Seton Hall University. He grew up playing baseball from the age of five and later joined various teams for volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, and cross-country during high school. In his first cross-country season, Ryan injured his tibia and knee, and going through the healing process sparked his growing interest in Physical Therapy as a career. His love for sports and understanding of injuries motivated him to pursue this path. Ryan's clinical experiences have allowed him to work with patients presenting a range of neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular conditions. At Hackensack Meridian Wellness Center, he treated patients using Aquatic Physical Therapy to help them regain confidence in pain-free daily activities. He worked with younger athletes, weekend warriors, and working adults to facilitate their return to play and work at functional levels. His final clinical experience was at Spring Hills Post Acute Care, where he supported older adults recovering from cardiovascular and neurological conditions, focusing on fall risk prevention and transitional care. In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing recreational volleyball, personal training, and powerlifting. He also loves spending time with friends and family through activities like watching movies, painting, playing board games, solving escape rooms, and dancing together.
