Sarah holds a distinguished degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in psychology, and a master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. In addition to her stellar academic training, Sarah has advanced certifications in multiple specialized models of psychotherapy, including Gottman Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, and she is also experienced in play therapy with younger clients. Sarah is a certified mediator, having received extensive training in conflict resolution.
Sarah uses a collaborative and integrative approach, drawing from various therapeutic models depending on the needs of the client. She works with clients of all ages and stages of life. She is experienced in working with clients dealing with anxiety, and a variety of mental health concerns. Sarah believes in building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients. She is passionate while working with clients and she aims to cultivate and establish a comfortable environment where she and her clients can work together to explore thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns, as they work towards their goals.
