At bottom I believe everyone wants to be understood, and when this is difficult, people often choose to seek help. People decide to see a psychiatrist for a variety of reasons. Some people struggle with painful emotions or problematic behaviors. Some people locate the source of their troubles in their mind and focus on a brain chemistry imbalance. These reflect different models of the same system and how it is functioning and affecting their lives. When a person seeks therapy to deal with his or her suffering, it is useful to consult someone who is comfortable understanding a patient’s experience from all of these perspectives, and who is flexible in taking the best each has to offer in providing therapy.
Before training and becoming board certified in Psychiatry I became board eligible in Neurology. I have had a general practice with adults for many years with a focus on psychotherapy integrated with psychopharmacological treatment. In addition, I recently completed training in psychoanalysis. These credentials reflect my commitment to learning about multiple aspects of the human mind in all its complexity, and my willingness and ability to integrate different models and points of view to best serve my patient’s needs. In addition to my training , I bring compassion, respect, curiosity, integrity and empathy to my efforts to understand and treat my patients.

Parking was crazy!! She was ok.. Once i got there i didnt feel so welcome could be she was upset because i was having problems get in the building but still i don't think that was a big deal. She didnt really introduce her self and didn't really care to make sure I was conferable.
