Loss is an inevitable and often painful part of life. Whether it be the loss of a friendship, relationship, or loved one, the grieving process can be a daunting challenge to navigate. The pain of losing someone or something important to you may at times even feel like it’ll never go away. But, as the body is capable of hurting, so too is it capable of healing.
Therapy can be a safe space where you feel able to fully process how that pain feels and to figure out what healing looks like. I seek to collaboratively work with you to establish adaptive coping strategies and use a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach toward helping you identify and understand difficult feelings you’ve experienced.
Grief can feel like you’ve lost a part of yourself—like there’s a missing piece that may never be found again. Finding the piece that fits is a powerful step on your lifelong journey of wellness and happiness, and I would love to play a role in helping you find what it means to feel whole again.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you through these challenging times with empathy and professionalism.
