Hello, My name is Seth Cohen. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who focuses on treating all types of mental health and life issues. I meet clients where they are and use a non-judgmental, warm approach to help them quickly solve real-world problems.
My approach
I use an eclectic approach grounded in Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
My focus
I have more than 10 years of experience working in hospitals, clinics, and non-profits treating everything from Depression and Anxiety to Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Alcohol and Drug Addiction. I currently run an alcohol and drug program at a large hospital.

I'm kind, compassionate, and direct.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist after struggling with my own challenges with Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, and Addiction. I often tell people I was a patient long before I was a therapist.
My goals for you
I think often when we enter therapy we do not know what our goals are. The beginning of therapy is about exploring what our values are and then finding a way to connect those values to our real-world situations. It is through this process we formulate our goals.

In our first session, I want to get to know what is bothering you and I want to help you to see a way to feel better. I want you to leave the first session with a sense of hope.
