Hello, I'm Sinadia!
I'm a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida and am seeking to obtain licensure in Georgia and New York soon. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Edward Waters University, my Master's in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Forensic Psychology at Walden University.
I am a mother of two beautiful children, one of whom spent time in the NICU. I'm also the aunt who spoils her sister's kids and a passionate self-care advocate. To me, all these roles are equally important because they create balance in my life and in the work that I do.
For most of my career, I have worked with single and pregnant mothers battling addictions, individuals with co-occurring disorders, women with past physical and sexual trauma, and those suffering from anxiety and depression.
I am truly a people person and love seeing girls and women recognize the positive changes within themselves as a result of their dedication to healing. That is one of the main reasons I love the work that I do.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercise, reading, gourmet cooking and trying out new recipes, spending time with my family, listening to music, and traveling.
